Ways to Give
Special Olympics Wisconsin is made possible because of the efforts of many volunteers,
coaches, athletes' families and the athletes themselves. In addition, more than 9,000
individual and corporate donors make Special Olympics Wisconsin come to life every
year.
When Eunice Kennedy Shriver organized the first Special Olympics Games in 1968, her
goal was to enhance the lives of people with cognitive disabilities through participation in competitive sports. It is the generous support of our individual
and corporate donors that give our athletes those opportunities.
Special Olympics Wisconsin, Inc. is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Donations
given are tax-deductible within IRS guidelines.
