World's Largest Truck Convoy

Truckers from all over the US will join the World's Largest Truck Convoy for Special Olympics. In Wisconsin, the Convoy will be escorted by law enforcement to the EAA Grounds for a celebration recognizing truckers and the support of the trucking industry. It is our way of saying thank you for your commitment to Special Olympics athletes and for keeping America moving.

Convoy Start:
- Pioneer Travel Plaza in Richfield (off of Hwy 41)
- 6:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. Registration/Check in
- 8:45 a.m. - Driver's Meeting
- 9:30 a.m. Convoy Begins

Types of vehicles that can participate: Semi-truck, truck/trailer combination, fire truck, dump truck, flat bed, bus, large tow truck or large box truck. All trucks must be 10-GVW or larger. Please note: No trucks with hazardous materials, alcohol or tobacco names & logos permitted.

$250 Level - Travel Coffee Mug
For participants that raise $250 or more we are offering a 16 oz. stainless steel travel tumbler with a steel outer wall and plastic liner. This item has a rubberized grip, a push on lid and a base that fits into most cup holders. Tumblers are screen printed with the 2008 Truck Convoy® fundraiser logo in cardinal red.
$1,000 Level - 1/64 scale Replica Convoy Truck
For participants that raise $1,000 or more we are offering a die-cast model truck. This 1/64 scale, white, Peterbilt 379 model truck with a 2 axle trailer is a collector’s item, measuring approximately 12 inches long by 2 inches high. The model truck displays the 2008 Truck Convoy® fundraiser logo, the Special Olympics and Torch Run logos on the trailer and the 2008 Truck Convoy® fundraiser logo on the cab doors and sleeper. The truck has a metal cab and plastic parts. Everyone will want to add this item to their collection!

- Sponsorship amounts are tax deductible in accordance with applicable laws
- Registration must be received by August 15, 2008 to guarantee a goodie bag (includes t-shirt) the day of the event. Registrations received after this time will be sent items at a later date.
- Additional lunches can be purchased at registration for $5 each
- Additional t-shirts are available at EAA for $12 each (choice of sizes limited)
